• 1. Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry

including Chemometrics, Ion Mobility Spectrometry, Electrochemical Analyses, Chemical and Biochemical Sensors, Separation and Ultra-trace Analysis, Instrumentation and Measurement, Advanced Energy Materials, Solar Cells, Electrosynthesis, Atomic Spectroscopy, and Supercritical Fluid Science and Technology.

In the undergraduate program, the focus is on theoretical and experimental chemistry science to provide a strong academic background. During the computational chemistry, experimental activities, and practical workshops, students can get deeply involved in chemistry issues. The student must complete an internship and a research project during the last year of the undergraduate program. This gives the students the opportunity to work in a team and identify real chemistry problems and challenges and resolve them.

The aim of the undergraduate program (B.Sc.) is to enable students of pursuing either professional careers in industry and chemical education or advanced graduate studies. Our undergraduate students must take 20 credit hours in general courses, 26 credit hours in basic science courses, 71 credit hours in core courses, and 15 credit hours in elective courses (132 credits in total) to qualify for the degree of B.Sc. in chemistry.
